A former M&A Director at PwC, Garzon joined CFGI in 2012 and has played a pivotal role in developing key banking, fintech, and asset management clients. Garzon serves as CFGI’s technical subject matter expert in ASC 326- Financial Instruments – Credit Losses (“CECL”) and other complex accounting areas including M&A diligence, acquisition accounting, and all topics pertaining to accounting for loans and credit affecting financial institutions. Prior to joining CFGI, Garzon worked as a Director in PwC’s M&A Practice, as the Corporate Controller at Berkshire Hills Bancorp and as an Audit Manager at Deloitte.
