CFGI Announces Managing Director Promotions

Boston, MA, February 29, 2016 | CFGI is proud to announce the promotion of Angela Celia, Scott Allen, and Tara Brady to Managing Director. At CFGI, Managing Directors play an essential role in assisting the Partners in maintaining the firm’s high standard of client service delivery, development of the firm’s team of professionals, business development initiatives, and firm operations. Additionally, their promotion supports CFGI’s continued growth trajectory as a national leader in accounting advisory services.” Below is a brief description of each new Managing Director:

Angela Celia – A former Audit Manager at PwC, Celia brings over 11 years of experience and has played an important role in providing complex advisory services to clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, she has assisted clients in the biotechnology, technology, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, software, and entertainment industries. Celia’s experience is centered on SOX and Internal Audit, financial reporting, business and asset acquisition accounting, debt restructurings, equity financings, IPO readiness, revenue recognition, impairment assessments, derivative accounting, and hedge accounting.

Scott Allen – With over 11 years of experience and a former Audit Manager at PwC, Allen provides accounting and finance consulting services to clients in a variety of industries and sizes from small to multi-billion dollar organizations. His technical areas of focus include financial statement preparation, preferred stock and warrants, accounting for debt and derivative instruments, troubled debt restructurings, revenue recognition, collaboration agreements and contract accounting, and business combinations.

Tara Brady – A former professional in the Audit Practice at KPMG, Brady brings over 13 years of experience providing accounting, management advisory, and transaction services to public and private companies across multiple industries. She focuses on developing CFGI’s clients in the medical device and pharmaceutical spaces and has led numerous engagement teams in SEC Reporting, financial reporting, business and asset acquisition accounting, impairment analyses, segment reporting, carve-outs, internal controls as well as interim management. Brady has a reputation for delivering outstanding client service and leadership with business solutions that exceed client expectations.
