CFGI Donates $20,000 to Local Area Charities at Completion of 2015-16 CFGI Charity Football Pool

Boston, MA, March 9, 2016 | With the close of the 2015-16 NFL football season and CFGI’s 4th Annual Charity Football Pool, CFGI donated $20,000 to local charities on behalf of the five winners of the competition. The CFGI Charity Football Pool combines fun and charitable giving via a survivor-style NFL football pool. This year, CFGI’s pool included nearly 700 participants, including executives and finance leaders across its Boston, New York, and Philadelphia markets. At the conclusion of the season, CFGI makes a donation to each of the charities designated by the winners of the pool. Shane Caiazzo, Co-Founder and Partner of CFGI states, “CFGI’s Annual Charity Football Pool continues to be a great way for us to support the community and engage our clients through an event that is both fun and competitive. Every year we have the opportunity to support different charities that represent so many great causes.”

The 2015-2016 CFGI Charity Football Pool winners and designated charities are as follows:

Tied for 1st Place: Elmer Lai, CFO, Autotask – $4,750
$4,750 donation to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

Tied for 1st Place: Shawn Garrett, CFO, Smartbear Software – $4,750
$4,750 donation to National Brain Tumor Society

Tied for 1st Place: Tanner Montgomery, Analyst, Harris Williams & Co – $4,750
$4,750 donation to Charity: Water

Tied for 1st Place: Daniel Taylor, Manager, CFGI – $4,750
$4,750 donation to The Greater Boston Food Bank

5th Place: Anonymous – $1,000
$1,000 donation to Folds of Honor

The entire CFGI team extends a sincere thank you all participants in this year’s pool that helped make it a great success. Looking forward to next season, CFGI is expecting to top last year’s charity pool with well over 700 participants for another season of charitable giving and fun competition.
