An event presented by Microsoft and CFGI.
Date: Friday, October 3, 2025
Location: Microsoft Silicon Valley Campus
Finance is evolving fast. This session helps CFOs cut through the hype and focus on what counts: where automation and AI create measurable value for the office of the CFO, and where they don’t.
You’ll learn:
• How to evaluate automation and AI tools against your finance priorities
• Where each technology adds the most value, and where it falls short
• How to move from reactive reporting to proactive strategy
Traditional automation: RPA, scripting, and system integrations—has delivered real efficiency by streamlining routine tasks. The toolkit is expanding. Artificial intelligence brings new adaptability, speed, and decision support. Not all tools are built for the same jobs: RPA excels at repetitive workflows; generative AI can accelerate drafting and summarization but has limits in reliability and depth; the newest frontier, agentic AI, enables autonomous systems that reason, act, and learn. For CFOs, the opportunity is in combining these capabilities, understanding where each generates the highest ROI, and building controls where limits matter most.
