Lubna is a Managing Director at CFGI and Head of Tax in our UK practice where she leads the delivery of UK and global tax compliance and advisory projects. Lubna’s team focuses on supporting businesses in their tax journey and offers a range of tax services and solutions that are tailored to the requirements of their clients, including cross border tax issues, compliance and governance and transaction support. She has 26 years of experience, working with private equity backed businesses, as well as multinational and listed groups, both UK and non-UK headquartered.
Before joining CFGI, Lubna was a Director at Deloitte for 8 years and led the Compliance and Risk team in the London Foreign Owned team. At Deloitte, Lubna worked with multinational groups in the delivery of complex UK and global compliance and advisory engagements. Prior to Deloitte, Lubna worked at EY for over 17 years in both their London and Midlands practice, where she led compliance and advisory engagements covering topics such as tax restructuring and permanent establishment, capital allowance claims, as well as HMRC enquiry resolution.
Lubna holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, graduating with a First. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and is a Prize Winner, coming first in Business Management, second in Tax and Third in the overall Order of Merit.
