Keep joins the Partner team in Boston and Nyers and Muccio will continue to lead CFGI’s Metro New York office. At CFGI, Partners manage the firm’s client service delivery, business development, professional team development, and leadership of internal initiatives. Partner Shane Caiazzo states, “The existing Partner group is thrilled to add Rob, Chris, and Mike to our Partnership team. This promotion highlights their commitment toward outstanding client delivery and superior leadership of our team of high-performing professionals and is demonstrative of CFGI’s growing position as the national leader in accounting advisory services. We are excited to have them join the executive team.” Below is a brief description of each new Partner:
Robert Keep – A former Director at KPMG, Keep joined CFGI in 2011 and has played a pivotal role in developing key software, life sciences, and technology clients. Keep serves as CFGI’s technical subject matter expert in ASC 606 – Revenue Recognition and brings a high level of technical expertise across many complex accounting areas. In addition to client delivery, Keep continues to leverage his expertise and actively participates in industry thought-leadership presentations and discussions and advises clients through the transition to the new revenue recognition guidance which significantly impacts CFGI’s client base. Keep states, “I am particularly excited about the near-term opportunity to manage clients through this complex revenue recognition change which touches on many facets of an organization. CFGI is uniquely positioned to bring the technical accounting, financial reporting, business process, controls, and systems expertise necessary to support our clients through this type of initiative.”
Christopher Nyers – A former Partner at KPMG’s national office, Nyers advises clients on their most complex accounting matters, including SEC reporting, M&A transactions, business combinations, divestitures, carve-outs, IPOs, revenue recognition, share-based compensation, restructuring activities, and leases. Since joining CFGI in 2013, he has played an integral role in the significant growth of CFGI’s New York office. Nyers’ experience spans a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, technology, life sciences, media and entertainment, energy, healthcare, insurance, and software. Along with Muccio, Nyers will be leading CFGI’s New York office in regards to client delivery, market expansion, and development of the firms’ professionals. Nyers adds, “Our significant growth in the New York Metro area further positions CFGI as a leading provider of accounting advisory services that quickly resolve companies’ most challenging accounting and finance issues.”
Michael Muccio – Since joining CFGI in 2009, Muccio has played an essential role in developing key financial services, manufacturing, technology, life sciences, media and entertainment, energy, and real estate clients. Additionally, he has significantly contributed to CFGI’s growth within the New York and New England markets. He has been a leader in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, SEC reporting, system implementations, share-based compensation, IPO readiness, and accounting advisory services.
