Edith is a Managing Director in CFGI’s New York office. Edith has superior analytical skills, which she has applied to a diverse range of scenarios, including valuations, goodwill impairment, and the audits of opening balance sheet accounts after acquisitions. Her clients have spanned a range of industries that include healthcare, retail, and media entertainment. She is versed with businesses of all sizes and is skilled in budget oversight, managing deliverables, and project management. Edith is a talented team manager with experience supervising senior and associate-level staff.
Prior to joining CFGI, Edith was an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young. She has a background in goodwill impairment analysis (ASC 350) and purchase accounting for acquisitions, including purchase price allocation. Other notable experience includes revenue recognition (ASC 605) and debt accounting, including extinguishment versus modification. In addition, Edith has knowledge in the review of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10K and 10Q), conducting accounting research, drafting technical memos, testing internal controls in accordance with SOX 404, and providing recommendations to remediate control deficiencies.
Edith holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Buffalo and she is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
