At CFGI, Xiaofeng (Emily) provides accounting, management advisory, capital markets and M&A transaction services to public and private companies ranging from the development stage to Fortune 500 corporations in the financial services, consumer goods, manufacturing, biotechnology, and healthcare industries. 

Xiaofeng (Emily) has broad and extensive experience in a variety of technical US GAAP and IFRS accounting areas including being a subject matter expert in the accounting for stock-based compensation arrangements, employee benefits, and corporate transactions. She also has extensive practical experience in the asset management operational accounting and financial reporting fields. 

Prior to joining CFGI, Xiaofeng (Emily) was a vice president in the global advisory and policy group at Morgan Stanley focusing on various accounting issues related to financing transactions, financial asset and liability transfers, compensation arrangements, consolidation, business combinations, derivatives, and embedded derivatives accounting issues. 

Xiaofeng (Emily) is an alumnus of KPMG where she was a director in the accounting advisory service practice and a senior manager in the firm’s audit practice national office in New York advising on complex accounting and financial reporting matters under both US GAAP and IFRS. Before that, she served as an engagement senior manager on both public and non-public audit clients. 

Xiaofeng (Emily) is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York and the state of Michigan and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Michigan – Dearborn.
