Jason is a Partner in CFGI’s San Francisco / Bay Area practice, providing accounting and financial consulting services with a focus in the life science and technology industries for nearly 30 years.

 Jason has significant global experience having assisted clients with their most complex transactions including technical accounting (under both USGAAP and IFRS), converting financial reporting from local GAAP / IFRS / USGAAP, SEC reporting, sell-side and buy-side transaction support, business combination accounting, and acquisition integration. He has extensive experience assisting clients to prepare for initial public offerings and debt offerings. He has led some of the most complex IPOs including the listing of the world’s largest Ride Share Company, among others. Jason has previously worked as an audit partner, so provides unique insights into the audit process and preparation for audits.

Before joining CFGI, Jason was a Partner with KPMG, leading the West Coast accounting advisory practice, and a member of the KPMG accounting advisory global leadership team focused on acquisitions and divestitures. Jason began his career in audit and was an audit partner prior to establishing a Center of Excellence for IFRS Conversion Services in Latin America and joining the advisory practice, prior to relocating to the US.

In his role, Jason advised and assisted companies with financial reporting advice, audit preparation/execution, the integration of acquisitions into consolidated financial statements, the preparation for becoming a public company, and managing large complex accounting-related transactions.

Jason has worked with numerous technology, biotech, and manufacturing companies in solving the most complex issues and supporting the financial and regulatory reporting of companies.  Included in his vast conversion experience was a project to lead one of the oldest and largest US-domiciled hardware/software companies on their US GAAP to IFRS conversion and multiple global 100 companies in their conversion efforts (including McKesson Corporation, Hewlett Packard, LUKOIL, and BHP Billiton)

Jason holds a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Australia and a Member of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand.
