With over 20 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, Rezgar has extensive experience in supporting clients with capital markets transactions (supported over 50 SPAC/IPO transactions) and large M&A transactions across various industries. Services include capital markets readiness support, SEC reporting, technical accounting (US GAAP and IFRS), buy-side accounting (including accounting integration), conversions to US GAAP and IFRS (predominantly associated with cross-border transactions), as well as project management support.
Prior to joining CFGI, Rezgar has spent over 11 years with KPMG’s Accounting Advisory / Deal Advisory consulting practice where he was providing accounting and financial reporting assistance in connection with complex transactions, specializing on capital markets transactions and SEC filings.
Prior to KPMG, Rezgar worked as a Head of Corporate Financial Reporting (IFRS) at SUEK, the largest coal producer in Russia. Experience obtained in the corporate environment provided Rezgar with a strong foundation and understanding of the processes, areas of focus and issues and challenges faced by the companies both in the normal course of business and in the time of change and disruption – M&A, IPO, regulatory or economic environment change.
Rezgar started his career with Deloitte’s audit practice.
