Tim is a Managing Director in CFGI’s IT Risk Advisory practice, providing technology risk and consulting services with a focus in the consumer products, manufacturing, financial services, higher education, technology and biotechnology industries for over 35 years. Tim’s broad expertise includes design assessment and operational effectiveness testing for financial statement audits and SOX with an emphasis on IT general and automated controls; SOC 1 and SOC 2 reviews; as well as IT governance. Tim’s systems and technology expertise including ERP systems such as Oracle e-Business Suite, and WorkDay; GRC platforms including MetricStream, Archer; along with SQL and various database technologies.
Tim, previously a Managing Director at State Street Corp held roles in Business Risk Management and IT Internal Audit, Prior to that he was a Partner at KPMG Boston, and was responsible for leading Risk Advisory Services and Technology Audit for New England, and national lead for Oracle GRC services. His specific experience encompasses a wide range of IT audit-related services including external audit, internal audit, technology risk assessments, process and controls reviews, controls rationalization, and application and security audits.
Tim has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
