Richard is a Managing Director in our Capital Markets Accounting Advisory practice and brings over 11 years of experience providing audit and accounting advisory services to public, private, and non-profit organizations of all sizes. His experience spans a variety of industries, including life sciences, media and entertainment, technology, software, construction, consumer products and retail. 

Richard assists clients with technical accounting analysis and implementations in a range of complex areas, including ASC 606 Revenue Recognition, ASC 350/985 Capitalized Software, ASC 808 Collaborative Arrangements, ASC 350 Intangibles and Goodwill Impairment Analysis, ASC 420 Restructuring, ASC 280 Segment Reporting, and ASC 330 Inventory and Cost Accounting. Due to his technical expertise, Richard serves as an advisor on numerous engagements relating to IPO and merger readiness and significant and complex transactions. 

Prior to joining CFGI, Richard worked as a Senior Manager in KPMG’s NYC office. During that time, Richard led integrated audit engagements of financial statements and internal controls for multinational companies in accordance with PCAOB and AICPA standards. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York.
