Marketing Manager

 

CFGI is a unique and highly specialized financial consulting firm that is strategically positioned to assist the office of the CFO through a range of routine and complex business scenarios.  As an extension of your corporate finance team, CFGI works alongside your internal staff, serving in a variety of roles from technical accounting advisor, M&A support, tax services, etc. delivering seamless support services.

 

We are seeking an innovative marketing tactician to help lead our business down new paths. As the marketing manager at CFGI, you’ll develop and implement strategic marketing plans that will provide you with an opportunity to focus on positioning a distinguished CFGI brand in the marketplace that will assist in driving long term growth for the Firm. This is a new role at CFGI and involves overseeing and enhancing various functions currently shared across CFGI and third-party vendors. Success in the role will require a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and hands-on execution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Marketing Coordination and Execution:

 

·       Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns, serving as the primary touchpoint between CFGI’s professionals and CFGI’s third-party marketing agency.

·       Brand Management: Manage the company’s brand identity by developing and maintaining brand guidelines. Manage website updates and performance, ensuring consistent messaging across the firm.

·       Budget and Expense Management: Oversee the requests, approval, and feedback of the effectiveness of marketing expenditures. Allocate resources effectively, and monitor/report on marketing expense performance.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration with Other CFGI Departments:

 

·       Event Management: Coordinate with CFGI’s professionals and regional support managers to execute marketing events.

·       Lead Conversion: Work with CFGI’s Head of Business Development to manage the process of handing off marketing leads to the sales team.

·       Data & Analytics: Collaborate with finance to improve sales and marketing data. Establish KPIs and regularly analyze marketing metrics to optimize strategies.

 

Strategic Planning:

 

·       Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

·       Utilize insights to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities.

·       Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligning with company objectives, contributing to revenue growth.

·       Enhance CFGI’s strategic approach to marketing and unified messaging.

 

Qualifications:

 

·       Ten plus years in marketing, preferably at a professional service or B2B company.

·       Proven track record in developing and executing marketing initiatives.

·       Functional knowledge of content management systems (e.g., WordPress), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing automation systems (e.g., Pardot).

·       Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

·       Desire to work in a “player-coach model” where leaders engage hands-on.

·       Ability to use data for informed decision-making.
