Brian is a Managing Director in CFGI’s Valuation Services practice, providing consulting and valuation services to individuals and domestic and foreign businesses for 20 years.
Brian has significant experience with financial reporting (ASC 805 business combinations, ASC 350, and ASC 360); tax planning and reporting; estate and gift tax planning and reporting valuations; closely held companies and partial interests; Section 409A (Internal Revenue Code) and ASC 718 including preferred stock, stock options, warrants, debt instruments, and other complex equity instruments; litigation, mediation, and shareholder disputes; mergers, divestitures, restructuring, and consulting; and intellectual property / intangible assets. His industry experience includes technology (hardware and software), consumer products, food & beverage, apparel, life sciences & biotechnology, manufacturing, engineering, aerospace & defense, distribution & wholesales, real estate, financial services, and others.
Before joining CFGI, Brian was at Andersen for 13 years, following 2 years at Deloitte and 5 years at a boutique investment banking and valuation advisory firm.
Brian has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Finance, Real Estate, and Law Concentration from California State Polytechnic University. He is a member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA–BV).
