Chris Selkirk

Managing Director

Chris is a Managing Director at CFGI, where he leads the firm’s Order to Cash advisory and transformation capabilities. Chris advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on complex O2C transformation initiatives designed to accelerate cash flow, optimize working capital, improve operational performance, and build scalable order to cash ecosystems. His experience spans credit and collections, billing and invoicing, cash application, dispute management, revenue operations, performance management, and the implementation and optimization of enabling technologies.

Working closely with CFOs, finance executives, operating partners, and cross-functional leadership teams, Chris leads transformation initiatives across people, process, technology, data, and organizational design. He brings a hands-on, execution-oriented approach to identifying performance gaps, establishing leading practices, strengthening accountability, and translating strategic objectives into measurable financial and operational outcomes.

Additionally, Chris has extensive experience supporting private equity-backed organizations through periods of transformation, including acquisitions, carve-outs, integrations, rapid growth, and operational improvement programs. His work focuses on developing scalable, technology-enabled O2C operating models that enhance visibility, improve efficiency, accelerate cash conversion, and create sustainable enterprise value.

Prior to joining CFGI, Chris was a member of PwC’s M&A practice, where he advised clients on complex integrations and carve-out transactions across the full transaction lifecycle. His experience spanned pre-sign planning and diligence, sign-to-close readiness and execution, and post-close integration and separation activities. In this capacity, Chris worked closely with executive leadership, functional teams, and transaction stakeholders to develop and execute integration and separation strategies, establish target operating models, manage Day 1 readiness and transition activities, and drive post-close execution and value realization.

Chris holds a Bachelors of Science in Finance from Northeastern University and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Babson College.
