Darnell Rose is a Managing Director in CFGI’s FP&A Advisory practice, with more than 20 years of experience supporting finance leaders through transformation, performance improvement, and complex operational change. He brings deep expertise across FP&A, financial reporting, and finance operations, partnering closely with executive teams to translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable financial strategies.
At CFGI, Darnell supports clients across a range of industries on business transformation initiatives, with a particular focus on immersive business partnering and agile KPI development within the FP&A function. His work helps organizations improve decision‑making, strengthen financial control, and align performance metrics to strategic priorities.
Prior to joining CFGI, Darnell served as a Financial Manager at DuPont de Nemours, Inc., where he led the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis processes for multiple global reporting units. In that role, he developed and managed the annual operating plan for a global $1 billion business, supporting an EBITDA target in excess of 25%.
Earlier in his career, Darnell spent more than 13 years in audit, consulting, and advisory roles, working extensively with clients in banking, financial services, and insurance. His experience includes supporting strategic transactions, debt and equity offerings, hedging strategies, restructurings, internal controls, and financial reporting for public companies.
Darnell holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Drexel University and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA). He is based in Philadelphia.
