Jason is a Managing Director in the accounting advisory practice at CFGI. With over 16 years of experience, he provides accounting and consulting services to public and private clients in the life sciences, healthcare, aerospace and defense, and technology industries. Jason has extensive experience with complex technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, business combinations, stock-based compensation, and complex debt and equity transactions. Prior to joining CFGI, Jason worked in SEC reporting for a public company. He is an alumnus of Deloitte where he mainly focused on the Aerospace and Defense Industry, working with large, complex government contractors.

Jason leads complex technical accounting, financial reporting, IPO readiness, and finance transformation projects for a wide array of clients. His list of clients ranges from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, providing him with exposure to various GAAP and SEC reporting matters. Jason has extensive experience assisting clients with their most critical technical accounting and financial reporting matters. He is viewed by his clients as a strategic partner providing technical accounting support for a wide range of complex transactions and assisting his clients with communication to senior management and external auditors.
Prior to joining CFGI, Jason managed all SEC reporting for a public company to ensure timely and accurate filings with the SEC. While at Deloitte, he led various financial statement audits and reviews of large public entities in the Aerospace and Defense, Hospitality, and Technology industries, with a focus on revenue, goodwill, intangible assets, business combinations, and spin-off transactions. He also has experience reviewing internal controls and SOX requirements for public entities.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Finance from California State University in San Marcos. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia.
