Karin Kovacic is a Partner, Sponsor Coverage and Strategy at CFGI, based in Stamford, Connecticut, bringing more than 20 years of experience across private credit, private equity, and middle market M&A. She has deep industry expertise in healthcare, consumer, technology, and manufacturing, and works closely with sponsors and growth-oriented middle market companies to deliver structured credit solutions and support strategic transactions.
At CFGI, Karin is building and leading the firm’s middle market private equity strategy and executing on that vision nationwide, deepening CFGI’s commitment to sponsors and middle market companies from deal sourcing through value creation and exit.
Prior to joining CFGI, Karin led deal origination, sponsor coverage, and structured credit solutions throughout her career, completing more than $2 billion in transactions. She is a four-time honoree on Mergers & Acquisitions magazine’s Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A list and serves as Chairman of ACG Connecticut, one of the most active chapters in the Association for Corporate Growth network.
