Leo is a Managing Director with CFGI providing capital markets and accounting advisory services on complex transactions to private and public companies across Life Sciences, Telecomm, Media & Technology (TMT), and Consumer Products. Leo has extensive experience in supporting clients in moments of exceptional changes as growth, capital raising, and divestitures. These transactions include preparation of SEC reporting, purchase price allocation model, assessment of key technical considerations, sell-side support, and helping clients through the entire process from due diligence review to transaction close. Leo also has experience in the conversion of local statutory reporting to US GAAP/IFRS from assessment of main differences to implementation of changes.

Leo’s skills include IPO readiness and SPAC transactions; accounting conversions and accounting standards change (US GAAP, IFRS); carve-out modeling; sell-side and buy-side transaction support; business combination accounting; SEC reporting; and leases.

Before joining CFGI, Leo worked for 10+ years in PwC Deals’ practice in New York and previously in PwC Audit practice in Milan, Italy. During his career in PwC, he worked on several IPO readiness assessments and helped C-suite in facing complex transactions. Leo’s role included helping clients in preparing SEC reporting, providing clients with tools, technical papers, balance sheet modeling and carve-outs to navigate complexities around divestitures. He also helped clients with buy-side transactions and provided expertise on accounting conversion and integration of changes across relevant business processes.

Leo holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Accounting from the University of Pavia in Italy, and a Master of Science in Finance and Accounting from the Catholic University of Milan in Italy.
