Mai is a Managing Director in CFGI’s IT Risk Advisory practice, with over 14 years of experience in providing IT consulting services for a variety of industries.
While at CFGI, Mai leads IT and SOX-related services, including SOX implementations and significant deficiency/material weakness remediation. Mai is also on the CFGI firm-wide task force charged with building the firm’s Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) readiness framework.
Mai, previously the Director of IT Compliance at a large Cruise line, built the IT Compliance function and worked with business leaders to achieve effective SOX and Operational IT compliance.
At PwC, Mai was responsible for leading large, complex engagements for a variety of clients across industries. She has a well-rounded risk and controls background in business process and financial controls, IT general controls, vendor risk management, privacy, and financial services federal regulation compliance. Her unique background allowed her to serve as a regional lead on a high-profile federal regulation consent order remediation Internal Audit engagements over security controls.
