Nick is a Managing Director with CFGI’s Accounting Advisory practice and brings over thirteen years of experience providing technical accounting, financial reporting, and interim management support for his clients. Nick has experience working with public and private clients of all sizes and industries, with a focus primarily on financial services, namely Banking and FinTech. 

Since joining CFGI, Nick has advised clients on a variety of complex accounting matters including allowance for loan losses (ASC 310 & ASC 450), current expected credit losses (ASC 326), leases (ASC 842), and business combinations (ASC 805 & ASC 810), reporting (US GAAP and SEC), among others. He has also filled several key interim controllership positions where he was responsible for operational integrity and managing large teams through challenging transition periods. 

Prior to joining CFGI, Nick was an Audit Senior Manager in KPMG’s Financial Services Practice in Boston. As a Senior Manager at KPMG, Nick was responsible for leading all aspects of audit engagements for both public and private companies in banking, insurance, hedge fund, venture capital, and higher-education industries. 

Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Saint Anselm College and a Master of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Massachusetts.
