Roy is a Managing Director with CFGI, providing mergers and acquisition advisory services to private equity and corporate clients. Roy has over 20 years of experience in operational and financial management, and has extensive experience in all facets of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, both as a business operator and strategic advisor.

He has experience in private corporate settings, including positions of chief financial officer and vice president – finance and operations in several organizations. He has led deals (buy-side and sell-side) ranging from $2m to $42b in value.

Prior to joining CFGI, Roy was Managing Partner of a boutique transaction advisory firm in Southern California advising clients through all phases of their capital agenda. Prior to then, he was an executive at EY’s Transaction Services practice, where he led numerous multinational transactions and participated in the development of the precursor of EY’s Divestiture Advisory Service practice.

Roy served as CFO of a private-equity owned fitness retail company and led their M&A efforts. He also oversaw the transformation of a high-growth entertainment firm, including numerous M&A transactions. Ultimately, he managed the divestitures of these businesses for their shareholders.  

Roy has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics / Business from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a Certified Public Accountant in California.
