Scott brings over 20 years of experience in public accounting and at a large public company.  He is a valued advisor to public and private companies in a variety of industries, including life sciences, services and technology companies.  Scott is a subject matter expert for discontinued operations and has led the execution of a variety of projects including SEC reporting, segment reporting, financial reporting, impairment analyses, segment reporting, process improvement projects as well as interim financial roles.  Scott often functions as a liaison between companies and their public auditor to ensure all audit related matters are conducted in a timely manner.  His breadth of experience enables him to provide clients with valuable and timely advice. Scott has a reputation for delivering outstanding client service and people leadership with business solutions that exceed his clients’ expectations. 

Prior to joining CFGI, Scott was a financial leader at a leading telecommunications company, where he held a variety of roles.  He was a director in financial planning and analysis where he created or centralized financial forecasting and reporting functions through business transformation, process re-engineering and automation for various operational teams, such as real estate, marketing, and IT.  Scott also led the external reporting team for the development of accounting policies, the SEC filings for quarterly and annual filings, transactional filings for security offerings, spin-offs, carve-out financial statements and acquisitions.  Prior to that, Scott was an Audit Senior Manager at Deloitte in the Metropolitan New York area, where he was a publishing industry subject matter expert. 

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from Villanova University.
