As a Partner, Walter Swenson leads the firm’s Portfolio Management Office, focused on enterprise-wide, end-to-end value creation. He helps organizations align strategic objectives and value creation priorities to portfolios, programs, products, and projects to drive disciplined execution and measurable outcomes.
Before joining CFGI, Walter spent over two decades in consulting, including more than 12 years at a Big Four firm, where he built and led a national value realization and PMO capability. He has extensive experience supporting enterprise transformations, M&A integrations and separations, IPO readiness, operating model redesigns, and complex, high-impact initiatives across Fortune 500 and private equity–backed organizations.
Walter holds a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University, advanced professional certifications in project and program management, and has completed extensive executive and leadership training in portfolio management, finance, business transformation, and value creation.
