Yachen Suvorov is a Managing Director in CFGI’s Accounting Advisory practice, bringing more than 19 years of accounting and financial consulting experience across a wide range of industries. Her industry focus spans life sciences and biotechnology, financial services and fintech, technology and software, insurance, aerospace, and quantum computing, with particular depth in cross-border capital markets transactions, including IPOs, mergers, and reverse mergers.
Throughout her career, Yachen has led IPO, reverse merger, and SPAC merger engagements and supported both public and private companies across their external financial reporting, including SEC registration statements and Forms S-1, F-1, S-4, F-4, 10-K, and 10-Q. She brings significant depth in technical accounting matters such as business combinations, complex debt and equity financings, share-based compensation, earnings per share, and carve-out financial statements, and has served as interim controller overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, financial reporting, and audit support.
Before joining CFGI, Yachen was a Senior Manager of financial reporting and technical accounting at Signature Bank, where she led external reporting, including earnings releases and Forms 8-K, 10-Q, and 10-K. She began her career at Ernst & Young as an Assurance Manager in the banking and capital markets practice. Yachen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Utah and a Master of Science in Accounting from Weber State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and California.
