Celebrating 25 Years of Excellence
CFGI brings experts and automation to execute your finance functions and scale with you, so you can focus on running the business. The accountability of a CPA, the speed of AI.
Private-capital-backed finance functions are more critical than ever to value creation. CFGI supports today’s Office of the CFO with the reporting, forecasting, and KPIs to track your most critical initiatives, pairing twenty-five years of experience serving CFOs with world-class AI data-management technology.
Complete, accurate outputs depend on three things: data, systems, and technical expertise. CFGI’s process works for any ERP and level of data maturity, with every output reviewed and verified by a CFGI CPA / domain expert.
Typically up to 50% when accounting for all-in finance costs over the life of a hold period, including transformation. For a PE-backed company, savings fall straight to EBITDA and are multiplied at exit.
Start with one process or take on most of the functions under the CFO from day one. Flexible to start small and ramp up, ex-Big Four accountants without the audit restrictions.
For companies staring down a finance transformation, we execute in weeks, not quarters, roughly 5x-10x faster than a typical transformation run internally.
Finance leaders are facing a perfect storm, all at once. A critical talent shortage, a widening AI-readiness gap, and cash-flow pressure, with no single-vendor answer in the market.
Traditional options each create a different problem. Big 4: independence conflicts and offshore delivery. Staffing: 60+ day cycles, variable quality. Internal: AI gap, retirement cliff, no scalability.
CFGI Automated Finance is the only always-on, conflict-free, onshore solution. A dedicated senior team, PRISM live dashboards, AI automation, and a fixed fee. No audit practice, no restrictions.
80% of finance functions will integrate AI platforms by 2026, and those without a partner will fall behind. CFGI brings 25 years of expertise, 2,500+ clients, and a purpose-built platform. The window is now.

Specialist-led processes, coordinated compliance calendars, and technology-enabled data collection reduce friction and identify risks earlier.
Compliance-focused payroll and accrual processes ensure accurate, timely entries that flow cleanly into the books.

SOX readiness and ongoing compliance. Internal control framework design, monitoring, and audit support, built to withstand regulatory scrutiny.
Continuous monitoring, risk-based prioritization, and senior security leadership translate technical exposure into an actionable security program.
ERP/EPM system implementation, Agentic AI and ML/DL/LLM upgrades, adjacent technology configuration, and ongoing application management services.
Automated controls and expert human review combine for full assurance, all thanks to PRISM.
ERP systems plus industry-specific third-party technology, matched to your size, sector, and complexity (e.g., Ramp, Avalara, Adaptive, Paylocity).
Deterministic automation, not AI guesswork. The same process produces the same result every time, whether triggered by your team or run by a digital agent.
Technology and automation combine to produce the exact deliverable each offering requires, consistent, repeatable, on schedule.
Every deliverable is visualized, routed through a sign-off workflow, and permanently stored in PRISM, the same system you use to review and approve completed work.
Before anything reaches you, a subject-matter expert in that exact offering area reviews and signs off.
PRISM is the AI-native command center behind CFGI Automated Finance, every integration, every process, one source of financial truth, with a CFGI CPA signing off at each control point.
The same outcomes, delivered by technology, automation, and expert oversight instead of a growing headcount.
Each function is staffed by a dedicated full-time employee. With any business growth, the number of FTEs required just to close the books every month grows too.
Functions, each individually staffed
Every function is now run by technology and reviewed by experts, not staffed individually. PRISM connects source systems, digital agents, approval workflows, and deliverables in a single place.
Functions, run by technology & automation
Scales from 4 to 16 weeks based on engagement size. Four phases, nine steps, each backed by a tracked RAID log and a live governance cadence. The backbone never changes; only the depth and number of workshops.
A taxonomy review shows the whole process inventory before planning; scoping workshops size the work. Exits with an agreed process inventory and workshop plan.
We run the workshops and document every process so someone outside the room could follow it, then close gaps in follow-up sessions. Exits with draft docs and a system-gap list.
You review the docs, we shadow the work live to catch what’s never written down, and update until docs match reality. Exits with client-validated, reality-tested documentation.
A handoff checklist, not a formality. Delivery starts with everything needed to run from day one: a SIPOC per process, a live RAID log, an improvement backlog, and the full doc trail.
Everything below is true before your first day of live operations, not promised for later.
We help you achieve your finance, accounting, and operational goals by functioning as an extension of your team, dedicated to solutions that keep generating value long after implementation.
With Big Four experience, CFGI professionals provide all the expertise of a Big Four national office with the attentiveness of a boutique firm, supporting CFOs through the most complex accounting challenges they face.

P2P · O2C · fixed assets · inventory, transaction processing and subledger integrity
Controllership is the operational core of CFGI Automated Finance. We execute the high-volume transaction cycles that feed the general ledger, from vendor and customer onboarding through invoicing, payments, collections, fixed assets, and inventory. Standardized workflows improve data quality, control, and downstream reporting.
Accurate transaction processing creates clean subledgers, fewer close exceptions, and reliable reporting inputs.
R2R, month-end close, consolidation, and financial statements
Controllership is the operational core of CFGI Automated Finance. We manage the end-to-end close, from the close calendar and journal entries through account reconciliations, consolidation, and draft financial statements. Clear ownership and standardized workflows help clients close faster with stronger visibility and control.
Many clients begin with 15-25-day closes; the target operating model is 3-5 business days. Close calendars, escalation protocols, and go/no-go criteria are established in the first 30 days.
Annual operating plan, forecasting, variance analysis, capital planning, board reporting
FP&A produces the planning and analytical outputs that help leadership and PE sponsors make decisions. While Controllership closes the past, FP&A informs the future. This tower is particularly valued by PE sponsors who need portfolio-level visibility and CFOs expected to run management reporting and board presentations.
PE sponsors often engage CFGI for FP&A to get consistent reporting standards across the portfolio, and CFGI can build directly to a sponsor’s defined reporting templates and KPI requirements.
Federal, state & local, indirect tax, transfer pricing, international, provision
The Tax tower covers the full range of tax compliance and reporting obligations, from federal income tax returns and ASC 740 provision, to sales and use tax, state income tax, and international obligations including transfer pricing.
Tax is the obligation that most often surfaces on its own, missed deadlines, IRS notices, or payroll tax errors. The CFGI tax team ensures deadlines are never missed, details are accurate and complete, and filings are consistent year-over-year for auditors.
Payroll processing, benefits administration, contributions, deductions, employee data management
The Compensation tower covers the hire-to-retire process cycle, from onboarding a new employee into the payroll and HR systems, through recurring payroll runs, benefits contributions and deductions, to offboarding. Often bundled with Controllership because payroll feeds directly into the GL and month-end close.
Payroll errors, missed filings, miscalculated deductions, multi-state gaps, are among the most common compliance triggers we see. Late 941 filings or state notices cost more than is even visible: employee satisfaction, audit triggers, and excessive non-value-add time.
SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, earnings), private capital reporting, board packages, investor materials
Investor Reporting produces the external financial communications companies owe to their investors, regulators, and capital markets, from SEC periodic filings for public companies, to board and LP reporting for PE-backed private companies. A natural extension of Controllership and FP&A, critical for companies on a path to IPO.
SEC reporting readiness typically requires 18-24 months of lead time. CFGI’s Technical Accounting team can support complex accounting policy decisions under a separate engagement, advisory depth plus operational execution, under one roof.
SOX readiness, internal audit support, risk framework, policy documentation
The Controls & Compliance tower builds and maintains the internal control environment, documented policies, tested controls, and audit-ready processes that give regulators, auditors, and investors confidence in the financial statements. Most often triggered by IPO preparation, a PE sponsor’s audit readiness requirement, or a material weakness needing remediation.
The full-stack IPO advantage: Technical Accounting prepares memos and policies under a separate SOW; the team then operates against your signed-off framework. No other provider delivers both advisory depth and operational execution under one roof.
Continuous, subscription-based security oversight scaled to your organization
Cybersecurity Automated Finance extends CFGI’s model into security oversight, continuous, expert-led programs delivered on a fixed-fee subscription basis rather than one-off project work. The three offerings scale independently based on maturity and need, and are frequently added once Controllership and Controls & Compliance are stabilized.
Cybersecurity is increasingly a diligence item for PE sponsors and lenders even at pre-IPO stage, a TPRM or V-CISO gap is often the trigger, surfaced the same way a payroll or tax filing gap opens the Compensation or Tax offering.
ERP/EPM · Agentic AI · AMS · 3P Tools
Technology & AMS keeps your finance stack current and fully supported, ERP/EPM system implementation, Agentic AI and ML/DL/LLM technology upgrades, adjacent technology configuration, and ongoing application management services.
When a process runs better on a real system than on spreadsheets and email, we build that system as part of the transition, not after, one go-live, not two.
