Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
At CFGI, we are committed to fostering a workplace and client environment that celebrates and values diversity, equity, and inclusion in all its forms. We believe a diverse and inclusive workforce, as well as a broad range of perspectives, is essential for innovation, creativity, and delivering the highest level of service to our clients.
Our Commitment to Diversity
We recognize and respect the unique backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of every individual within our firm and those we serve. We actively seek to create a workplace that reflects the rich tapestry of society, ensuring all team members have equal opportunities for growth and development.
Our Commitment to Equity
We are dedicated to promoting fairness and justice in all aspects of our business. We strive to remove barriers and create a level playing field where everyone can thrive, regardless of their race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic that makes them unique.
Our Commitment to Inclusion
Inclusion is at the heart of our culture. We aim to create an environment where all voices are heard, valued, and respected. We encourage open and honest conversations, and we actively seek input from all team members to drive innovation and improvement.
Our Actions
Recognizing that diversity, equity, and inclusion are dynamic pursuits rather than fixed objectives, we are committed to an ongoing journey of improvement. Our dedication is unwavering as we strive to continuously enhance our DEI initiatives, positioning ourselves as leaders in driving positive change within our industry.
Here are highlights of our actions within the past year:
Community Service Initiatives
Our local CFGI Cares committees coordinated over 40 community service events throughout the year, encompassing activities such as park cleanups, fundraising races, and assistance to older adults with yard work.
Pride Events and The Trevor Project Donation
CFGI team members actively participated in Pride events nationwide, contributing both as attendees and volunteers. We also donated to The Trevor Project through our colleagues’ fundraising efforts.
Women’s History Month Celebrations
CFGI’s Network of Women organized a fireside chat with women in our firm’s leadership. The theme for Women’s History Month, „Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories in 2023,“ engaged over 300 team members in a shared learning experience. Additionally, our offices orchestrated more than a dozen International Women’s Day events across the country.
Black History Month Summit
We successfully hosted our inaugural Black History Month summit in New York City, featuring a panel of CFGI team members and alumni. The discussion focused on instigating change in workplaces and communities through leadership, community service, and mentorship.
Mental Health & Well-Being Resource Launch
The firm introduced a comprehensive mental health resource available to all team members and their dependents. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting our colleagues‘ emotional, physical, social, professional, and financial well-being with an array of resources and assistance.
Employee Resource Group Program
In preparation for the launch in early 2024, we invested time in developing an Employee Resource Group program. This initiative aims to create a platform for open discussions, fostering shared experiences and driving subsequent education, action, and change.
