Amy Cohn is a Partner in CFGI’s FP&A Advisory practice, bringing more than 15 years of experience building, scaling, and leading finance organizations that support growth, profitability, and informed decision‑making. She works closely with executive leadership, boards, and private equity sponsors to strengthen FP&A capabilities, improve performance visibility, and align financial insights with strategic objectives.
At CFGI, Amy leads engagements focused on assessing, establishing, and enhancing FP&A functions. Her work includes developing KPI frameworks and management reporting packages, building robust financial models, and supporting strategic planning and scenario analysis. She is known for partnering effectively across stakeholders and translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
Prior to joining CFGI, Amy led FP&A for a Fortune 50 company, overseeing financial planning for a business unit with approximately $10 billion in revenue. In that role, she built and managed a 15‑person FP&A team and served as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, driving profitability initiatives, improving forecast accuracy, and implementing process efficiencies while managing change at scale.
Earlier in her career, Amy held progressive accounting and finance leadership roles at publicly traded companies and began her career at Deloitte in the Audit practice. Her experience includes leading monthly close and SEC reporting processes, supporting major system implementations, and executing complex accounting initiatives, including ASC 606 adoption.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. She is based in Philadelphia.
