Bektan is a Partner with CFGI’s Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice in Germany, where he leads the national TAS team. He brings more than 20 years of experience advising both corporate and private equity clients on domestic and cross-border transactions. Bektan specializes in financial due diligence and purchase agreement advisory, supporting clients throughout the full M&A deal cycle, from initial acquisitions to strategic add-ons, refinancings, and successful exits.
He has led numerous buy-side, sell-side, carve-out, and merger transactions across a wide range of deal sizes, with a strong track record of managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams. His deep understanding of transaction dynamics enables him to deliver tailored solutions that drive value, mitigate risk, and support strategic decision-making throughout the deal process.
Prior to joining CFGI, Bektan served as a Director in Deloitte Germany’s Transaction Services practice, where he advised private equity investors, portfolio companies, and corporates on M&A transactions, including acquisition and divestiture processes, add-on strategies, refinancing situations, and transaction-related contract support. His industry experience spans Software, Media, Industrial Products, Business Services, Life Sciences and Healthcare (MedTech), Waste Management, and the Sports industry.
