He partners with clients of all sizes to enhance confidence, performance, and strategic insight within treasury and commodity functions.
As a trusted advisor to Boards, CFOs and Treasurers, Jacques provides specialist support on mergers and acquisitions, including the design and establishment of treasury and commodity functions, treasury technology selection and implementation, risk management, corporate treasury, banking and cash management, and the valuation and accounting of derivatives. Leveraging his extensive experience and broad global treasury network, he delivers pragmatic insights and high impact recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
Jacques leads a team of deep specialists who stay at the forefront of industry developments, enabling clients to benchmark and optimise their operations across areas such as TMS, CTRM, S/4HANA and other treasury systems, regulation, data analytics, operating models, credit risk, internal audit support, accounting, and trading strategies.
Prior to joining CFGI, Jacques spent 20 years at PwC and EY, where he progressed to become UK Treasury & Commodity Advisory Partner at EY. He holds a Master’s and Post Master’s degree in Accounting and Controlling from Nyenrode Business University and is a Dutch qualified Chartered Accountant (RegisterAccountant).
