Matt is a Managing Director specializing in SEC reporting, internal controls, and finance transformation. Matt is a seasoned finance and accounting executive with extensive experience leading large-scale transformation programs, advising executive leadership teams, and helping organizations navigate complex financial reporting, operational, and regulatory challenges. His experience spans public and private companies across life science, technology, real estate, and aerospace and defense industries.
Matt leads teams focused on assisting clients with public company readiness, technical accounting matters, SOX compliance, and finance transformation initiatives. He has significant experience helping organizations modernize finance functions, implement scalable processes and controls, improve reporting capabilities, and drive operational efficiencies. Matt has led complex engagements involving IPO and SPAC execution, M&A transactions, SEC reporting and compliance, internal control design and remediation, and ERP transformations.
Prior to his current role, Matt served in leadership positions at Deloitte, where he advised high-growth, early stage companies up to Fortune 100 companies on technical accounting, reporting, and internal controls. He partnered closely with CFOs, controllers, and executive leadership teams to deliver strategic solutions that enhanced reporting, strengthened control environments, and supported long-term growth objectives.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California.
