Lauren is a Managing Director with CFGI’s New York office with over ten years of experience, providing accounting and finance advisory, consulting, and interim management services to both public and private clients in a variety of industries. While at CFGI, Lauren has had exposure to a variety of accounting and finance-based consulting work including financial reporting, technical accounting, M&A integration, system implementations, FP&A, revenue recognition, lease accounting, audit readiness, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, etc.
While at CFGI, Lauren has assisted numerous public and privately held companies of all sizes navigate their most complex technical accounting, operational accounting, and financial reporting needs. Lauren leverages accounting, finance, and audit knowledge as well as analytical thinking to determine approaches that are both highly effective and efficient at helping her clients reach their goals, including suggestions for practical business improvements. She has developed a strong working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting frameworks. While at CFGI, Lauren has primarily worked with life sciences, biotechnology, entertainment, and technology clients. Lauren has extensive experience executing various projects including business combinations, investments, ASC 606 and ASC 842 implementations, debt and equity analyses, and filling interim roles in a variety of accounting, reporting, and FP&A areas.
Prior to joining CFGI, Lauren worked in the assurance practice at PwC in the asset management sector. While at PwC. Lauren worked extensively with clients and team members to resolve complex audit issues and provide financial statement recommendations.
Lauren has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Providence College. She is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
