CFGI Announces Managing Director and Director Promotions

Boston, MA, June 21, 2017 | CFGI is proud to announce the promotion of Josh Verni, JP Henderson, and Keith Ouellette to Managing Director and April Coleman to Director of SEC Reporting. At CFGI, Managing Directors and Directors are leaders at the firm with regards to firm operations, maintaining the high standard of client service, and the team of professionals. Josh, JP, Keith, and April all have an outstanding ability to assist their clients in leading the most complicated and critical projects to successful resolution. These promotions bolster CFGI’s leadership position in each of our markets, whereby Josh and JP contribute significant strength in our New York City office, Keith brings extraordinary technical expertise to our Life Sciences practice, and April’s experience as a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reviewer coupled with her deep working knowledge and skill with all types of SEC matters contributes to CFGI’s unmatched ability to help our clients through the SEC Registration process.”

Below is a brief description of each new Managing Director and Director:

Josh Verni – Verni brings over 13 years of experience and began his career at PwC in the assurance practice. He is a subject matter expert in debt and equity financings and has extensive experience in business combinations, derivatives, equity-linked instruments, stock-based compensation, and revenue recognition. Verni consistently assists clients and leads engagement teams through complex transactions including acquisitions, carve-outs, initial public offerings, debt and equity issuances, reorganizations, and other complex transactions. Additionally, he plays a pivotal role in CFGI’s NASBA certified learning and education program.

Jean-Pierre Henderson – A former Senior Manager in the Audit practice at Deloitte & Touché, Henderson brings over 14 years of expertise to CFGI. Henderson provides technical and operational accounting assistance in areas that include SEC registrations, revenue recognition, share-based compensation, business combinations, embedded derivatives, debt modifications, complex equity and financing arrangements, and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Prior to joining CFGI, Jean-Pierre was a Senior Manager for 6 years in Deloitte’s Audit Practice in New York City serving large multi-national clients across the consumer business industry.

Keith Ouellette – A former Senior Manager in the assurance and accounting advisory practices of PwC, Ouellette brings over 14 years of experience to CFGI. Ouellette provides clients with accounting, management advisory, and transaction services. He has served both publicly-traded and privately-held clients in multiple industries, specializing in life sciences companies. Ouellette has extensive experience dealing with issues involving technical accounting, SEC reporting, process improvement, internal controls, and SOX compliance.

April Coleman – A former Audit Manager at PwC, Coleman brings over 16 years of expertise to CFGI. Coleman has significant experience working with SEC registrants and pre-IPO companies on a variety of technical accounting and reporting matters. Her work has included assisting companies with SEC reporting, technical accounting research, IPO preparation, accounting, and reporting matters related to business combinations and audit readiness.
