CFGI is proud to announce the promotion of six Senior Managers to the role of Managing Director. At CFGI, the Managing Director’s role is to assist the Partners in managing the firm in the areas of client service delivery, business development, assisting or mentoring the CFGI team and managing the firm’s internal initiatives. Partner, Nick Nardone, says “these promotions demonstrate the significant growth and expansion of our company, highlights each individual’s significant accomplishments and enables CFGI to continue to better serve our clients”. Below is a brief description of each new Managing Director:
Matt Pantera – Since joining CFGI in 2011 as a Senior Manager, Matt has played an essential role in developing key insurance, real estate and internet technology clients. Helping grow CFGI’s presence within the insurance industry, his efforts have been focused in the Hartford, Connecticut area. Additionally, Matt has also been instrumental in developing CFGI’s mentoring program.
Robert Keep – Since joining CFGI in 2011 as a Senior Manager, Robert has played an essential role in developing key software and life science clients. Helping to grow CFGI’s technical accounting expertise, with a focus on revenue recognition, transaction services and business purchase combinations, he has also been instrumental in developing CFGI’s internal infrastructure for technical learning and collaboration.
Elizabeth (“Libby”) Merrill – Since joining CFGI in 2009 as a Consultant, Libby has played an essential role in developing key pre-IPO and software and technology manufacturing client accounts. With expertise in SEC reporting, Libby has played a pivotal role in growing CFGI’s technical accounting expertise, focusing on variable interest entity, complex financing arrangements and equity accounting. She has also been instrumental in developing CFGI’s technical training programs.
Mike Muccio – Since joining CFGI in 2009 as a Manager, Mike has played an essential role in developing key medical device, biotech and real estate clients and growing CFGI’s technical accounting expertise, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, post-merger integration and equity accounting. He has also been instrumental developing CFGI’s capabilities with respect to stock option compensation system implementations.
Andres Garzon – Since joining CFGI in 2012 as a Senior Manager, Andres has played an essential role in developing key banking and financial services clients and growing CFGI’s presence within the community banking industry. Andres’ expertise is focused on both operational and technical accounting needs, with a focus on regulatory compliance, risk management, mergers and acquisitions and post-merger integration and loan assessments. He has also been instrumental in developing CFGI’s market awareness strategy.
Brian Pinheiro – Since joining CFGI in 2011 as a Manager, Brian has played an essential role in developing key banking and financial services clients and growing CFGI’s presence within the community banking industry. Brian’s expertise is focused on both operational and technical accounting needs at banks and financial institutions, with a focus on regulatory compliance, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, systems implementations and business process redesign. He has also been instrumental in developing CFGI’s market awareness strategy.
