Benjamin brings over 14 years of experience providing accounting and advisory services to both public and private companies across a range of industries, including manufacturing, consumer markets, media & entertainment, technology, and life sciences. During his tenure with CFGI Benjamin has assisted clients with a wide range of complex technical accounting issues.

Benjamin’s skills include interim management and controllership, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and initial public offerings readiness, divestitures, SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and implementation of new accounting standards (ASC 606 and ASC 842).

Benjamin began his career in the assurance practice at PwC and has also served in several key interim management roles including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President of Finance, Director of Technical Accounting, and Director of SEC Reporting. Most recently, Mr. Martin was the Corporate Controller for a private MSO whom he was responsible for taking public.

Benjamin’s education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Accounting from Boston College. He is also a member of the General Gift Committee at Philips Exeter Academy.
