David brings 20 years of experience with foreign private issuers, private and private equity portfolios, and public companies, often with international or cross-border aspects. David’s experience includes substantial cross-border capital market transactions. David has done this in both China, where David reached the partner level, and again in the U.S. where David spent the past 8 years focused on the U.S. GAAP.
David Situ’s recent experience includes cross-border transaction support for multiple foreign private issuers and conversions from IFRS to U.S. GAAP (or other local GAAP). He has also provided support to multiple clients on various technical accounting matters, capital market transactions such as IPOs, de-SPACs, and complex or unusual transactions.
Before that, David worked in public accounting with Deloitte in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and San Jose. He is a former Experienced Partner with extensive technical accounting and cross-border transaction experience. David also worked as a technical review partner across the Greater China region including spending significant time on Hong Kong IPOs.
