Malick brings over 15 years of experience to his clients, providing solutions to complex accounting and operational challenges. Malick has worked with clients in a variety of industries with a focus on Financial Services, FinTech, Technology and Cryptocurrency space, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups; some of which he took public.
While at CFGI, Malick has led numerous engagement teams in completing audit readiness and financial reporting, initial public offerings, equity and debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, controls optimization and process improvements and various complex accounting projects.
Before CFGI, Malick spent 14 years at EY in various roles across the world, most recently as Senior Manager in the Los Angeles office. Malick was responsible for leading audit and advisory engagements for various public and non-public companies in Financial Services, Technology and FinTech Sectors, advising clients on issues ranging from technical accounting matters, IPO Readiness, adoptions of new accounting and regulatory standards, complex transactions, controls rationalization and process optimizations and automation. In addition to leading audit projects, Malick has also led advisory projects for high growing private companies and assisted them towards their initial public offering.
Malick has a Bachelor of Science (hons) in Applied Accounts from Oxford Brookes UK. He is a Certified Public Accountant in California and a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant in the UK.
