Mark is the practice leader of our Accounting for Income Taxes practice at CFGI. As the firm’s subject matter expert in accounting for income taxes, he routinely provides various tax consulting and compliance services to a wide range of clients from privately held start-ups to large public multinational corporations. He has over 20 years of public accounting and consulting experience, and during his career, Mark has worked for clients across a number of industries including technology/software, biotech, pharmaceuticals/life sciences, manufacturing, retail, professional services, cannabis, and telecommunications.

Mark serves as the engagement tax leader for a number of the firm’s largest and most technically complex clients. He has provided deep technical support to a broad range of clients in the area of accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and other tax consulting areas such as stock compensation accounting and reporting, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, accounting for US tax reform, IFRS reporting, and carveouts, as well as leading large scale tax compliance projects.

Prior to joining CFGI, Mark was a Director in the tax practice at PwC in Boston. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Bryant University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Massachusetts and is a member of AICPA and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
