Despite the impact of the pandemic, 2020 was a record year for the U.S. capital markets, with companies raising over $167 billion in proceeds from initial public offerings. In 2020, CFGI’s Accounting Advisory Practice and Capital Markets Advisory team supported over 60 capital markets transactions, including 30 that were completed during 2020. Of the 30 transactions completed during 2020, 28 were initial public offerings, pursuant to which our clients raised a combined aggregate of $10.1 billion in proceeds.
