Marc is a Managing Director in CFGI’s Accounting Advisory practice, providing accounting and financial consulting services with a focus in the real estate, consumer products, retail, financial services, and investment management industries for over 13 years. Marc assists clients with technical accounting issues including extensive ASC 842/IFRS 16 implementation and execution, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and ASC 350 capitalized software, among other topics. Marc also works on audit readiness, business combination, and SPAC projects. He has held interim team manager roles in the real estate, consumer products, and market research industries. Marc is a CFGI Subject Matter Expert on ASC 842/ASC 840/IFRS 16.
Marc’s skills include ASC 842/ASC 840/IFRS 16 leases (CFGI SME); ASC 606 revenue from contracts with customers (revenue recognition); ASC 350/985 capitalized software; Initial public offerings (IPO readiness and support) and S-1/F-1 filings; Interim support/audit readiness/period end close support; and SEC reporting and business combination pro forma financial statements.
Prior to joining CFGI, Marc was an Associate Legal Entity Controller at Goldman Sachs, where he was responsible for month and quarter-end accounting close procedures, balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis, and preparation of monthly regulatory reporting documents with a focus on futures products. Prior to that, Marc was a Manager at Deloitte, where he was responsible for the execution of financial statement and internal control audits of various public and non-public consumer product, retail, financial services, and investment management companies.
Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Delaware. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey.
