Brian Tremblay is a Managing Director leading the Internal Audit offering at CFGI based in Boston, MA. He has more than a decade of experience building, rebuilding, and leading internal audit departments, including spending three years at a cybersecurity company.
Brian is a seasoned audit and risk leader, spending over a decade at various companies building, rebuilding, and maturing internal audit functions, inclusive of enterprise risk management (ERM). An expert in the field, Brian is uniquely qualified to lead internal audit projects having been a Chief Audit Executive as recently as 2023 and serving in this capacity for clients at CFGI.
In addition to Internal Audit and ERM, Brian has spent three years in public accounting at Deloitte and three years at cybersecurity company Onapsis, helping to uniquely bridge the gap between security and compliance. Brian is actively involved with the Institute of Internal Auditors on a local, national, and global level participating on various committees and speaking at conferences.
Brian has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fitchburg State University and an MSA/MBA from Northeastern University. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).
