Chris is a Partner in CFGI’s Risk Advisory practice. He has over 20 years of experience in project management, internal audit, internal controls, and risk compliance.

Chris’ skills include Internal Audit, Project Management, Risk Compliance and Risk Control, Enterprise Risk Assessments, Operational Consulting, and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance. Chris has industry experience in Financial Services (Insurance/Banking), Energy/Solar, and Pharmaceutical. Chris has systems and technology expertise with Great Plains and Blackline.

Chris has extensive experience in assisting clients with internal audit, enterprise risk management and all phases of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, including planning, scoping, testing and drafting of SEC required disclosures. His keen ability to deliver valued communication to audit committees and coordinate planning for testing, remediation and reporting with external audit firms from mid-range to big 4 has provided comfort and value to all concerned stakeholders.  

Chris has particularly strong experience with newly public and early development stage companies and has provided complete implementation compliance packages to meet their needs—including training and coaching employees new to this process. Further, he has developed several unique plans to fit the risk advisory experience to match the unique needs of each client, regardless of their size.  

Chris has a Master of Business in Administration from the University of Texas, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from Dartmouth College. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.
