Jon is a Managing Director in CFGI’s Accounting Advisory practice. Jon has over 10 years of experience working in an accounting advisory capacity, whereby he specializes in applying in-depth technical accounting knowledge to commercial situations. Jon has a detailed knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP and IFRS, working with both public and private companies in the UK and Asia. Jon also has professional experience working in lead advisory, audit, and as an internal consultant in industry.
Prior to CFGI, Jon was a director in Deloitte’s Accounting Advisory team, providing advisory services across multiple industries for listed and private clients of varying sizes. Jon also has experience working in industry as an internal accounting advisory consultant for a large international telecommunications company. Jon has also led and grown an Accounting Advisory team within a mid-market accounting firm supporting private, government, and listed clients. Jon regularly provides complex accounting and external reporting support on transactions involving acquisitions, divestments, carve-outs, IPOs, restructuring, and separations.
Jon is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).
